Dialogs: Array of Strings

#1

Is it possible to make a dialog input an array of strings?

and then when they are finished adding all the string have it look somehting like this:

I don’t think letting the end user use a text input with comma separated values is the best choice. I’d rather avoid that if at all possible

What do you think of multi-select drop downs ?

I opened a RFE on CloudForms Bugzilla a while ago for it: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1337792. It is still in status NEW, but a PR is ongoing: https://github.com/ManageIQ/manageiq/pull/10270 and latest update was only 4 days ago

I also created an issue on Github repo for manageiq-ui-classic.

Thanks for the reply. It seems you too work on dialogs alot ; )

I am really glad you put in this request : D
It looks like it goes back all the way to May of last year (and it still isn’t released). That’s quite a while.

Il know it seems long but 2016 has seen the migration to angular as well as the first steps of code split. It was key to ManageIQ feature set growth and opens the door to a more modular and modern application. The last update on the PR was 4 days ago, so release has never been closer
