Apologies in advance if this has been answered already I did a search but haven’t come up with much, I am importing my Cloud formations templates now from AWS into ManageIQ and Cloudforms and after I create a Catalog Item, they go into read only mode. so if I need to change anything I cant, I deleted the Service catalog item and the dialog that was pinned to it but I it stays greyed out, is there anyway to remove the read only flag?
I found the reason. When you build a box from an orchestration template it sets the read-only flag when it creates the stack. Even if I have retired my AWS instances the stack stays present. You need to go to Compute -> Clouds -> Stacks and delete the stack that was created when the box or boxes were provisioned this will release the read only flag.
