I am trying to integrate ManageIQ with Service now instance, Can anyone help me to integrate ManageIQ with Service now ?

@sumgadde. Sam here. I am planning to test out MIQ and SN CMDB integration.
So far I am still reading this doc
http://manageiq.org/docs/reference/latest/doc-Integration_with_ServiceNow/miq/

#3

Thanks T J , i have this document and have read it multiple times … but
how to integrate service now cmdb to manageiq , so that we can load the
data discovered from manageiq to servicenow cmdb … also how to use that
class and namespace … is there any option on servicenow instance UI to
do this integration

#4

@sunmgadde, my current small goal is only limited to adding CI entry when new VM got provisioned and update a CI’s status when it got retired by MIQ GUI.

If miq got adopted at my workplace, I am planning to trigger SN ticket when MIQ report detect “VMware VMs without vmtools installed”. This will integrate MIQ more with existing SN based IT support workflow(Incident/service/change … tickets).

#5

Ok , my goal is same as yours , can you pls let me know how to do this …

#6

@ramrexx has written this automate domain: https://github.com/ramrexx/ServiceNow_Incident which contains some pretty cool stuff.

#7

Also https://github.com/ramrexx/ServiceNow_CMDB and https://github.com/ramrexx/ServiceNow_ServiceCatalog

#8

@sumgadde, I have not working on this goal yet thus no notes to share yet.

How about lets work together to start a google doc to record this effort ?
After we are done the notes can be merged into miq doc.

#9

@pemcg, Thanks for the pointers of those doc. I will definitely check them out and try.

#10

Hi T J , we can work together…
