Running Automate Methods from other classes

Typically when we run a method it runs in the context of the enclosing instance. And as long as the method is in the same class you can just use the name of the method.

If your method happens to be in a different namespace, class you can specify the path to the Automate method (with or without the domain). When you specify the path replace the last / with a . (dot) to indicate its a method. Since that same class could have an instance with the same name.

e.g.
/System/Request.my_method
or
/MyDomain/System/Request.my_method

If you are trying to directly execute a method from a state field you can use the METHOD:: prefix and point to a method either in the current class or in a different class
e.g.
METHOD::/System/Request.my_method
