Using Cinder volumes for instance deployments with OpenStack Cloud Provider

Hello,

I have started making some deployments using an OpenStack Cloud Provider within my ManageIQ installation, and don’t see how could I use Cinder bootable volumes instead of just using Nova for deploying instances. Is it required to use Heat templates for this? Which would be the easiest and/or most appropriate way to do this?
