Are affinity/anti-affinity rules of Heat templates supported by Manage IQ/CloudForms?

Hi,

I apologize if this is a FAQ, or it’s been asked and answered already, but I couldn’t find any information, so here goes…

Does Manage IQ/CloudForms support affinity/anti-affinity rules and host aggregation during deployment, in OpenStack Heat templates when imported to MIQ/CFME?

We have a partner who wants to run cloud application that may require these rules in their orchestration templates.

Ken,
We currently do not support these rules. We simply pass the template to the provider during deployment. If these rules can be specified in the template, then they will be honored by the provider at deployment. I doubt these rules can be applied at API level.
