Batch deletion of VMs

Hey there,

is there a possibility to destroy VMs in masses ? Found a method called vm.destroy - but this is for a single vm. In the WebUI its possible to select more than one VM and destroy them in one call. Which method and how is that used ?

Hello,

it still uses vm.destroy method, just calling it on many VMs. There is no safe batch method, since by calling vm.destroy, there are hooks running that delete also related records (Rails :dependent => :destroy).

I’ve been asking for multi-select, custom methods for years. I have the same requirement for bulk deletion of VM’s.
