ManageIQ website provides only PDF documentation and video tutorials. Could we have the documentation in HTML to browse without the hassle of PDF rendering ? And I believe it would make the documentation update process easier
Github user kallimachos is on the Red Hat docs team and they are currently converting the XML sources behind the PDFs to asciidoc and adding them to the manageiq_docs repo.
See for example this PR: https://github.com/ManageIQ/manageiq_docs/pull/1
As @geertj mentioned, we’re in the process of converting these documents. We’re not sure on the time line for completion as we’re still working on some backend automation. The goal is to have public source available in AsciiDoc at https://github.com/ManageIQ/manageiq_docs, and have this built to HTML for the ManageIQ website.
Fingers crossed this will all happen sooner rather than later.
How can we help on that matter ?
