Hi all,
The Hammer branch has been created from master for all repos.
From this point on, EVERYTHING destined for Hammer MUST be labeled with hammer/yes
and will follow the same backport process we used in Gaprindashvili, as follows:
hammer/yes – for initial release of Hammer - needs to be backported immediately for inclusion in the next build
hammer/no OR no hammer label – upstream master-only targeting Ivanchuk
If a cherry-pick has conflicts, @simaishi will post the results in the PR and add the label hammer/conflict , meaning the original developer needs to create a PR on the hammer branch with conflict resolved. The following rules apply for backporting a PR:
- title will be automatically prefixed with [Hammer] by the bot
- have a link to the PR on master
- assigned to @simaishi
- have same labels as PR on master
When we get to hammer blockers-only, then the following will go into effect:
hammer/yes AND blocker – for CURRENT release of Hammer - needs to be backported immediately for inclusion in the next build
hammer/yes AND without blocker – Fix will be re-evaluated for next release
Should you have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to contact @dmetzger, @simaishi, @chessbyte, or me (@Fryguy).
