We want to explore high availability with manage IQ engine. Pass me of you have any documents or steps.
I’m not sure where you might be able to find more “official” documentation, but I wrote up some steps for configuring the build-in database HA feature in this BZ comment https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1322068#c3
To make this work on ManageIQ appliances, you will first need to stop the manageiq and postgresql database services and remove the database as ManageIQ ships with as these are all configured on first-boot.
To do that you can run the following:
systemctl stop evmserverd && systemctl disable evmserverd systemctl stop $APPLIANCE_PG_SERVICE && systemctl disable $APPLIANCE_PG_SERVICE cd $APPLIANCE_PG_DATA rm -rf *
After finishing those steps you should be able to proceed with the instructions in the linked comment.
As for UI high availability, there is a way to put our appliances behind a load balancer and push the session data into the database, but I am less familiar with that process.
