@sumgadde. Sam here. I am planning to test out MIQ and SN CMDB integration.

Thanks T J , i have this document and have read it multiple times … but
how to integrate service now cmdb to manageiq , so that we can load the
data discovered from manageiq to servicenow cmdb … also how to use that
class and namespace … is there any option on servicenow instance UI to
do this integration

@sunmgadde, my current small goal is only limited to adding CI entry when new VM got provisioned and update a CI’s status when it got retired by MIQ GUI.

If miq got adopted at my workplace, I am planning to trigger SN ticket when MIQ report detect “VMware VMs without vmtools installed”. This will integrate MIQ more with existing SN based IT support workflow(Incident/service/change … tickets).

@sumgadde, I have not working on this goal yet thus no notes to share yet.

How about lets work together to start a google doc to record this effort ?
After we are done the notes can be merged into miq doc.

But while importing automate domain I am getting error as “/bin/rake does
not exist”.
