No "update password" link

I want to update the out-of-the-box root | smartvm credentials.

Here ( 2.1. Changing the Default Login Password) and here (Basic Configuration
) the docs advise me to go to the login screen and click on “update password” below the username and password fields.

I don’t see an update password link on that screen no matter what I do.

Any suggestions? Are the docs out of date? Thanks!

I see the update password think on the login screen …

The other option is to edit the user once you’re logged in:
