[Resolved] Need help on High Availability Workbook for ManageIQ

Hi

From R1, I like to POC the architecture design by using manageiq for VMWare.

R2 is the minimum change of R1.

My problem roadblock now is R3, I can’t even pass “Create Internal Database”. I had to reset the DB. But after I reset the DB, I can not following the original step …

Any pointer of where I did wrong will be appreciated.

Yes. @carbonin. Thanks so much for the past few days answering my query on Issues, my weekend struggle is now resolved your beautify clean_manageiq.sh script.

The reason I was not able to follow R1’s procedure to build a 4 nodes HA farm, was I missed a step to reset manageiq to its clean initial state. By default every vmware miq ova we downloaded has evm and postgresql running (generated data in data dir).

This clean_manageiq.sh script should be included in tools directory of VMs, IMO.
