Scan existing networks using nmap?

I am testing out MIQ Version master.20170309102519_cf439c2

Under “Networks” menu, is there a way to scan existing network without getting access to router devices ?

Like “nmap -sP 192.168.1.0/24” discovery scan and adding its output into MIQ database.

The Network menu will right now use the inventory from some of the providers.

It is not a discovery solution. As a manager of managers, you will need an intermediate manager that can do that, generate the inventory and update it, and send that information and events to MIQ.

Sounds like an interesting addition.

Need to do my homework to read through MIQ doc. I really like this nmap discovery feature to be added.
