Self service portal shutdown VM instead of poweroff

Hi, I noticed that in the self service portal VMs only have 3 Power Operations: Start, Stop and Suspend

Unfortunately Stop does not gracefully shutdown the VM, but powers it off, at least on vmware

Is there a way to change this?
